    BREAKER - BREAKER You got your ears on??

    I need a great big convoy of drivers to help me spread the word about the service Carrier Procurement Services, LLC (C. P.S.) twitter = @shippersagent is offering to shippers. 

     

    C.P.S. strongly supports and appreciates the Transportation Industry.  The men and women behind the wheel are the professionals that keep America rolling forward.

     

    We are focused on helping shippers to reduce their cost by directly utilizing spot-market carriers instead of third party logistic companies.

     

    Our goal is to make more freight available to you and create more opportunities for you to reduce your deadhead miles and increase your profits.

     

    I need your help spreading the word in order for both us to get more business.

     

    I know due to back solicitation clauses in broker contracts you cannot solicit new business from the shippers and receivers that you deliver to when you haul broker loads.

     

    But, by working together we can open these doors for other drivers and for each other.

     

    I want you to tell every shipper and receiver on every broker load that you haul, that they can cut out the middleman (the broker) and reduce their transportation costs by utilizing our service.

    Send me phone numbers and contact information so I can follow up with them along with any other details.

     

    While this will not open the shipper or receivers doors that you tell about the service it will open the door for other drivers to haul for them.  With other drivers opening doors as they spread the word about our service you will benefit from the doors that they open.

     

    As you know most brokers operate on at least a 20% profit margin, our program is designed to reduce shipper’s cost by 10%.

     

    This leaves the other 10% or so that the brokers are currently pocketing as a rate increase for you.

     

    The end result is a win-win situation.

     

    Shippers save money by dealing directly with the carrier and you actually increase your revenue by not loosing the excessive commissions that the third party logistics companies are taking out of the pie.

     

    Third party logistic companies generated over 150 Billion dollars in revenue last year.

     

    Their profits have been your losses.

     

    It will take a large convoy to spread the word, RT and shout it out to every driver, shipper and receiver that you see! And don’t forget to send me their information.

     

    This is not a cure for the industry, but it is definitely a step in the right direction.
